Tokyo is scaling its commercial FCEV fleet to become the world's premier hydrogen-integrated metropolis by 2030.
Under the TOKYO H2 Project, the city is deploying 200 Toyota Crown FCEVs by March 2026. These premium sedans offer 820km of range and refuel in under 3 minutes, outperforming traditional BEVs in high-mileage commercial duty.

Tokyo's Bureau of Transportation is expanding its SORA fuel cell bus fleet, aiming for 300+ units by 2030. These buses also serve as emergency power generators for the city.
